Newborn baby girl found dumped in Puchong

KUALA LUMPUR: A newborn baby girl was found in a dark alley behind a two-storey terrace house in Jalan BK 4/6, Bandar Kinrara, Puchong, near here.
Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Razak Elias said the baby, with her umbilical cord still attached and weighing 3.4kg, was found in a weak condition at about 12.10am on Friday by a woman who was in the house.
He said the woman contacted the Serdang district police headquarters, and the baby was sent to Hospital Serdang for further examination.
“We have visited the baby and she is in a stable condition,” he said, adding that police also found a pillowcase with bloodstains at the scene. — Bernama
